A workshop was held at the University of Georgia to raise awareness and strengthen institutional capacity for the full cycle of micro-credentials, from course design to national integration. The event brought together academic staff, administration representatives, and project partners to discuss the effective implementation of European standards and best practices in the local higher education system.

During the workshop, participants discussed the principles of designing competency-based short-term courses and planning and implementing micro-credential programs that respond to modern labor market needs. Special attention was paid to assessment standards, compliance with EU practices, as well as regulatory, methodological, and quality assurance issues.

The event became an important platform for disseminating the goals and expected results of the Micro-GEAR project among representatives of other universities, which contributed to creating new opportunities for cooperation and strengthening broad engagement.
